Meet the Staff
Shaena Smith
Shaena, owner of Blue Moon, has been in the hair industry for 20 years. She has traveled the country working in salons from Miami to New Jersey. She has had endless salon classes, trained at Vidal Sassoon, and has an extension certification. She likes to take a very artistic approach to hair. Shaena also loves a good color correction! She loves cutting in disconnected layers, and variations of bangs. She specializes in cutting short hair, with sharp lines and disconnection. Shaena also specializes in extensions.
Cristin has been behind the chair for 20 years. She truly loves coloring hair and creating texture and flow. She specializes in relaxing hair. Cristin makes every person that sits in her chair feel great about themselves. She loves getting to meet new people daily while blending their story and image together. Cristin also acts as Manager of Operations at Blue Moon.
Cristin Stahl
Amanda is a licensed cosmetologist and is currently attending school at Pittsburgh School for Massage Therapy. She's been in the industry for over 5 years. She focuses on nails and esthetician work. Amanda's goal is to make her clients relaxed and comfortable while visiting the spa.
Amanda Rafalowski
Terri has been in the Esthetician and Nail Tech business for over 25 years and has included Microblading in her list of services. Clients have included local and national Celebrities over the years. She takes pride in her attention to detail in order that her clients walk away smiling.
Terri Gasior
Janel Whitfield
Janel has over 15 years of experience in the salon industry. She loves working in the spa atmosphere of Blue Moon and hopes her clients feel as good inside as they look outside. Janel specializes in up-dos and hair coloring.
Alexa Flavell
Alexa has been working in a salon atmosphere since she was 16. She graduated school in 2022, and has been behind the chair since. Alexa loves working with long hair and creating lived in hair colors. Blonding hair and extensions are some of her favorite services to perform.
Kenna Veverka
Kenna, who you might remember as our assistant, received her cosmetology license in 2023 from Toni & Guy, and has since became certified in Bellami Hair Extensions. Kenna loves color, extensions and cuts!
Lola Houston
Lola has been working in the salon atmosphere since age sixteen. She received her cosmetology license and since has solely focused on nails and skin. She specializes in Nail Art and loves new challenges. Lola’s main goal is to provide each client with a relaxing experience.
